Associated with Ekstraklasa S.A. since 2012. He has been the President of the Board of Directors since 2017, previously he served as Vice President. In Ekstraklasa he deals with implementation of business projects and strategic processes, including preparation and coordination of media contracts, sale of television rights, cooperation with government and local administration. With Marcin Animucki's direct involvement, in recent years Ekstraklasa has been breaking new records in terms of sales of media rights.
Marcin Animucki is also a member of the board of European Leagues - an organization bringing together more than 30 football leagues from across the continent - as the only representative of Central and Eastern European leagues. He was a member of the management board of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) from 2009 to 2016, and from 2008 to 2012 he was the president of the management board of RTS Widzew Łódź football club.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and a PhD student at the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw.
